The first Comfort at Home, a magazine for New York State residents with a focus on home energy efficiency, debuts at the New York State Fair. A big project for NYSERDA, we’re proud of it, keep an eye peeled for the next issue.

We ARE the cobbler’s children, and now we have shoes. Our new business cards just arrived….ooh, coooool. They have a QR code! And we have new direct lines, so call your favorite Cools to make sure you’re in touch.

We begin work with VWR Education, and suddenly have a pet millipede, thanks to our new client whose focus is on science education. We named him Milo.

We launched the DharmaRefuge site. We can’t take credit for the design of this Rochester-based Buddhist practice community site, but the content and the programming happened here…

The new web site for EFP Rotenberg, LLP goes live. And it's a big one! As befitting Rochester's second largest CPA firm. This caps a comprehensive rebrand for the merger between EFP Group and Rotenberg & Co. But one thing stays the same: their tagline is still: what counts. Brand Cool is hosting a business attire for job interviews clothing drive on behalf of Volunteers of America. There's a huge pile of clothes threatening to overtake our living room, but it’s all good. You can bring clothes, shoes, etc. by any Monday - Friday during business hours and pick up a receipt too. Or you can leave contributions on the porch at other times, but we would recommend a plastic bag. Thanks!

Brand Cool launches a new web site for Bivona Child Advocacy Center, Rochester’s unique under-one-roof collaboration of professionals who help children who have been sexually or physically abused. The site was the capstone to all new creative for the brand—logo, tagline, brochure, messaging—based on an a new brand position developed during an Ad Council workshop. Brand Cool launches a big new brand for First Exchange Bank, a community bank based in West Virginia. They unveiled the 'in real life' campaign on their traditional celebratory day (Groundhog Day) with new logo, look, signage, billboards, print ads, radio and TV.
